THE LONG WAY TO PROSPERITY

This book was created for the 175th birthday of the Landesgirokasse, today the LBBW. Not the usual chronicle of a bank, but rather a history book of its own, actually three books in one. The first story line, running throughout the book, is an exciting account about money. The second is the history of the bank and runs parallel with the first volume. The third level is a mosaic of the culture and ordinary people in which the bank has always been interested in. The forth section is a picture book with brilliant illustrations from Heinz Edelman – an associated commentary to the history of time.
